Paula Anawalt

Paula Bonnier Anawalt attended Wayne State University and the University of Oregon, majoring in Liberal Arts and Theatre. She now lives in Sacramento with her husband, where she continues to write and do her artwork.

POSTER EXHIBIT ON DISPLAY FROM AWARD-WINNING

AUTHOR Poster Exhibit for Children at BORDERS

 

Roseville, Calif.- A viewing of framed, color posters from the children's book, THE CRYSTAL PALACE; A Tale from the Gold Country, by award-winning author, Paula Anawalt, is available now through Friday, August 31st, 2001 at BORDERS in Roseville. The exhibit showcases six of the twenty-six illustrations from Anawalt's book. BORDERS is located at 1173 Galleria Boulevard, Suite P114, at the Galleria in Roseville. This book is available at all Sacramento area BORDERS.

This is the third time that art from the book has been on display at area BORDERS. Anawalt had a three and a half months display of her posters and original paintings from the book at the BORDERS in Folsom. Those exhibits ran from March to the end of June. A future exhibit of two of AnawaltÌs original paintings is planned for a Costumed Storytelling/Book Signing Event at the Crocker Art Museum in October. Details for this event will be announced in the near future.

CHILDREN'S POSTER EXHIBIT

Display at BORDERS Features Award-Winning Author

 

Davis, Calif.- A viewing of colorful, framed posters from the children's book The Crystal Palace: A Tale from the Gold Country by Paula Bonnier Anawalt will be available from Friday, September 6th, 2002 to Sunday, September 29th, 2002 at BORDERS in Davis. The exhibit showcases art from AnawaltÌs book, which she wrote and illustrated. BORDERS is located at 500 First Street, Suite 1 in Davis. This book is available at all Sacramento area BORDERS.

This is the fifth time BORDERS has featured art from Anawalt's book, and will mark a year and a half of exhibits at four local BORDERS stores. Anawalt appeared on UPN-KMAX 31 "Good Day Sacramento"at her last BORDERS exhibit in Roseville. The inside cover art from her book is featured in the Fall/Winter 2002 - Sacramento Visitors Guide.

COSTUMED STORYTELLING-BOOK SIGNING AT THE

CROCKER ART MUSEUM Features Award-Winning Author

 

Sacramento, Calif. Paula Bonnier Anawalt will give a Costumed Storytelling as, The Crystal Palace Story Lady. She will narrate her children's picture book, "The Crystal Palace, A Tale from the Gold Country". The Event will take place on Sunday, October 21, 2001 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Crocker Art Museum located at 216 O Street in Sacramento. (Free admission hours each Sunday are from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.). It is a Pre-School event, however, the book is also appropriate for ages five to nine. The Storytelling features a big, color, picture book, songs and excerpts from Anawalt's award-winning tape of, THE CRYSTAL PALACE. Two of her original paintings for the book will be placed on easels in the performing area. The Storytelling lasts for sixteen minutes. The author will answer questions; then The Museum Store will have a book signing and sale.
